On July 13, 2009, NY-YIP along with colleagues and friends enjoyed a spectacular day under the sun at the 17th annual NY-YIP Golf Open at Seawane Country Club in Hewlett Harbor. Ninety golfers participated in the event which raised more than $2,100 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
