Nearly 30 insurance professionals attended NJYIP’s first-ever free continuing-education class Time Management & Customer Service–Making it Work, on Feb. 28, at “The Wave” at Bell Works, in Holmdel.
The class, which was taught by Catherine Trischan, CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARM, AAI, AU, CRIS, MLIS, director of commercial underwriting at E&K Insurance Group, focused on how service professionals could develop their own individual time-management strategy within an organization.
Trischan discussed the current industry trends and their impact on customer service; the relationship between customer service and errors and omissions; and technological advancements that can allow us to improve customer service, but that also create new challenges. Participants also discussed key customer service issues and concerns, and share their strategies for success.
