2021 NJYIP Fun Run
NJYIP held its virtual Fun Run from May 28-June 11—during which over 100 runners participated in the event. The event raised $73,000 for the Special Olympics of New Jersey.
Key fundraisers included: Event sponsor FMI and Selective.
At the culmination of this year’s race on June 11, awards and appreciation was given to this year’s winners and supporters during the 2021 virtual Fun Run awards ceremony. Highlights include the presentation of the:
- Highest Fundraising Individual Award to Adam Eng;
- Highest Fundraising Agency Award to Jimcor Agencies;
- Highest Fundraising Company Award to Franklin Mutual Insurance; and
- Most Likes on Facebook Award to John Danka.
While this year was full of challenges, with support from Fun Run participants and other events, SONJ was able to start to provide more than just virtual opportunities for its athletes to connect with each other.
